Brand new to the High Power series is the Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 PM II High Power.
The new Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 PM II High Power telescopic sight has 9-fold zoom and an upper magnification of 45x making it the perfect telescopic sight for the ultra-long-range marksman.
The low profile double turn 2 plus elevation turret of the Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 PM II High Power comes equipped with a visual and tactile elevation turn indicator so you can easily tell what revolution of elevation you are on.
The Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 offers maximum optical brilliance for perfect target recognition at the longest distances.
The development history of the Schmidt & Bender High Power line is almost as unusual as the riflescopes themselves. When the USSOCOM was looking for a new riflescope for shooting at extreme distances, the Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 High Power provided the perfect solution - they wanted a 9x zoom and they got a 9x zoom. The Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 PM II High Power is the latest addition to the High Power line. Apart from the unusual magnification range, the ultra-slim and functional turrets are the main feature of this giant among long range riflescopes.
The Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 comes installed with a first focal plane reticland includes a wide range of turret choices and specifications which include as pictured on this scope DT II plus which has a visual and tactile turn indicator, DT II which has a visual indication system, the new brand new ultra low profile turrets which are available with DT27 or 35 MRAD or they can be fited with the MT II turn system features 0.05 Clicks. Each of the other turret systems come with 1/4 moa or .1 Mrad clicks and feature MTC clicks, a zero stop (ZC), and a double turn lockable turret.
The Double turn 2 + turret system come equipped with 26.5 MRAD of internal adjustment so this scope has the magnification range and elevation adjustment to tackle targets at extreme long ranges espeically if paired with a applicable caliber and MOA/MRAD scope mount.
